Extremely overwhelmed and humbled to have won the Most inspirational sports person category last night at MK Inspiration Awards.

I had a great evening with family and friends at the awards evening.

 

Few things I’d like to say;

Thank you to my family for putting up with me, my wife Vicky, if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be the man I am today.

 

Thank you to all the students and parents of Creative Ways Taekwondo (past and present) without your dedication and curiosity the club wouldn’t be what it is today.

 

A huge thank you needs to go to the club members and coaches over the years that have gone above and beyond to help drive the quality of the club forward helping with coaching & behind the scenes organisation that goes unnoticed by most – it’s truly appreciated!

I started the club to teach Taekwondo , over the years I’ve learned to understand that I don’t just teach taekwondo. In all honesty taekwondo is a bi product of so many life skills being passed on in lessons.

I carry on because I can see it makes a difference, I get told weekly it makes a difference & I want to ensure children get an opportunity to get what I was able to get from learning taekwondo

 

Looking forward to keep on carrying on, improving the club 1 step at a time and giving opportunities to those who choose to take them.
